Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow via Moscow overnight to Novosibirsk with Transaero  
Day 2   Arrive Novosibirsk for one night. This huge city has a pleasant and accessible centre and will make a tour that features the lovely squares and main buildings and also a really fascinating regional museum with Siberian mummies and a display on the sun  
Day 3   Overnight train from Novosibirsk south towards the Altai Mountains and Barnaul  
Day 4   Today we transfer to the charmingly provincial little town of Biysk  
Day 5   A full
Day to explore in the Altai region as we head for Gorno-Altaisk through scenic vistas of amazing diversity and beauty.  
Day 6   We have another full
Day to explore in the Altai region  
Day 7   Today we travel to our lovely and specially chosen site to watch the eclipse from our special location with expert  
Day 8   Return to Barnaul a very pleasant town to relax  
Day 9   Depart for Novosibirsk and the flight back to London
