ASCD lost almost 50% of its cinemahalls in Novosibirsk

In 2009, several lessors action lawsuit against ASCD (Art Science Cinema Distribution) for RUB 11,4 millions at sum. ASCD already lost 16 of 33 screen in Novosibirsk because of it, at least other 10 screens could be lost as well. In the same moment federal film distributors are ready to increase their presence in Novosibirsk. For example, St. Petersburg-based cinema chain Konverk Cinema said it has bought two units in the malls. ASCD used to be the biggest regional film distribution company in Russia. At the end of 2008 that Novosibirsk-based operator had 51 screens in Novosibirsk, Iskitim (Novosibirsk region), Omsk, Kemerovo and Gorno-Altaysk. Based on: vedomosti.ru, propertyxpress.com. |
