There is an opinion that countryside comes to an end. Maslyanino, in that case, - is an exception and isn’t going aloft. The Head of District Administration Vyacheslav Yarmanov, within limits of the press tour, discussed with representatives of Novosibirsk mass media the travel potential and stages of further development of Maslyanino territory on June 15. Maslyaninskiy district is situated on the southeast of Novosibirsk region in foothills of Salair mountain ridge, on the border of Kemerovskaya region and Altai territory. Vyacheslav Yarmanov, The Head of Administration of Maslyaninskiy district: “I always repeat and will keep repeating the thought: for a young person to come back to his small motherland, there must be conditions. It is important for people in which hospital their child was born, if their child will be able to go to a kindergarten, in which school their child will be studying in. We are working for young people would wish to come in our district, because young people are the future. Not everything is going so successful, but the person, who doesn’t make mistakes, is the person, who does nothing.” The importance of their presence in countryside is understood by young people themselves, who are uniting around Tatiana Gulina, the Chief Specialist of Youth Department of Maslyaninskiy district. Olesya Ivanova, participant of youth activists group of Maslyaninskiy district, a student of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University says: “I’m studying at Pedagogical University, but I spend a lot of time in Maslyanino. Youth policy is developing for not so long in our district, I would like to help it. Today it is easy to observe the treatment of a governing body to young people, and their problems. The Administration wants young people to stay in the district. Unfortunately, there are not so many students, who are ready to come constantly to the countryside and to take part in its life. Basically we are getting assistance from senior students, students of the local professional institution, young workers. Though, I hope that there will be more and more of us year by year.” There are people in each countryside in Russia, who are known by the entire neighborhood, and who know everything about that neighborhood. In Maslyanino there is such a unique person – Tamara Ushakova. An hour with a half spent with this woman replaces a year long course of local history. In this situation it is not surprising to see Tamara Federovna conducting an excursion around the village for guests arrived as a part of press tour. There are lots of places in Maslyanino to be shown. Ancient church, that since 1896 went through shooting and marching pioneers wearing blue shorts:  The enterprise of classical capitalism” – in such words Tamara Fedorovna characterized the brick factory and the dispensary on its territory. Gray industrial views of the factory are contrasting with a green lawn, on which the statues of heroes of Slavic folklore and the Buddha combined unexpectedly.  The memorial of district inhabitants, who were killed in the Great Patriotic War. Plates with bronze names on it are still are still being added on dark walls by relatives and friends of district inhabitants who have fought at the War.  Mountain skiing complex “Yurmanka” in Verkhnie Iki village doesn’t work in summer, and only local estates are demised. It’s not easy to notice Suenginskiy waterfall while passing by country road. It cascades down under the bridge surrounded by canes and water lilies. The waterfall and Suenga river (right confluent of Berd river), in which it flows into, are popular among locals, especially in summer.  People in Maslyanino are not less interesting than places. It turns out, that Novosibirsk badminton players come here for training, some individuals in dashing time managed to lose whole freight cars with cheese, and a young cheerful man works as a teacher in the orphanage. Yaroslav Kalugin, worker of the orphanage in Maslyanino: “It happened that I arrived in Maslyanino from far away some years ago. It is not really appropriate to say whether it is better here or worse, because people create themselves the world in which they live. Everybody knows saying that not the place adorns the person, but vice-versa. Working in the orphanage I bring up teenagers. Today they don’t want to be jurists or diplomats, instead of it they choose such professions which they see. For example, they talk about becoming a driver. Lots of them want to stay here, start their own housekeeping, and get married”. Of course, not all inhabitants of the district share optimistic views of their Head and his like-minded fellows, but general trend to positive changes can be observed. “Positive virus” of Maslyanino could be the successful provocation, which will make other districts of the region look for the ways to overcome outflow of locals to the city. Today the local tourism is one of main instruments of development of village territories, which allows to attract people and investments. According to Vyacheslav Yarmanov, Maslyaninskiy district is going to compete with Altai in struggle for tourists. And, among other things, the new mountain complex “Skakusha” will start working soon in the district that will allow Novosibirsk inhabitants to invest money in their region, taking holydays on its territory.
