Novosibirsk-Avia opens flights to Kyzyl

|
Small regional aviation company Novosibirsk-Avia opens flight Novosibirsk-Abakan-Kyzyl. Flight to capital of Tuva Respublic will be the only flight to this boundary region of Russia. Moreover, the only alternative to this flight is interstate highway M-54, that connects Krasnoyarsk, Abakan and Kyzyl. But one should keep in mind, that kust during last winter this road was closed triply because of snowdrift spreading. And that's all - no other way to get the hell out of Kyzyl.
Kyzyl: the name of the city means "red" in Tuvan (as well as in many other Turkic languages). Population: 105,931 (2004 est.); 104,105 (2002 Census). Kyzyl is served by Kyzyl Airport.
Every Monday and Friday An-24 leaves Novosibirsk, and every Tuesday and Saturday - it leaves Kyzyl. New flight that carries number SL 2037 (and SL 2038 for the flyback) was open under that project by "Siberian Agreement", which is a union of siberian regions. One of it's mission is developing local siberian aviation.
Novosibirsk-Avia also announced price levels for this flight: full route - 6 400 RUB, Novosibirsk-Abakan - 4 900 RUB, Abakan-Kyzyl - 2 500 RUB.
