Tolmachevo International Airport (OVB) announced results of working in first months of this year. Passenger channel in February 2009 decreased on 30% (comparing to February 2008), as ngs.ru informs. Analytics of Tolmachevo name two major reasons: bankruptcy of several airline companies and low passenger channel of S7 Airlines (this company faces some problems last months).

In this situation airline tickets become a little cheaper. Name just a few, S7's average price came down for 8% (comparing to November 2008) and Ural Airlines - for 15% for Novosibirsk-Yekaterinburg. Many companies also reduce so-called "fuel surcharge".

Talking about S7 we should also mention, that now it has new international flight. Each Friday A320 fly en-route Novosibirsk-Almaty(Kazakhstan)-Novosibirsk. There is still no news about Novosibirsk-Prague(Czech Republic)-Novosibirsk flight, that was announced last year to be started in the spring time of 2009.
